Welcoming Andy Franko as Director of Education Operations

Education ReEnvisioned BOCES is delighted to welcome Andy Franko as Director of Education Operations. Franko has a master’s degree in education from the University of Colorado. Before coming to the ERBOCES, Franko worked as the superintendent of District 49’s iConnect Zone. During his time at D49, he made great strides to enhance the quality of education for students within the district.

Providing professional development to teachers within the district via online courses, Franko gave more teachers the opportunity to participate in professional development to grow their expertise. Franko also worked to encourage high performance, after-school activities for students, realizing the importance of extra-curriculars. He worked to ensure all children, including special education students, were able to participate in extra-curricular activities such as sports, visual arts, and performance arts, thus allowing a more flexible schooling experience, tailored to each student’s needs and schedules.

Franko’s commitment to providing educational opportunities allowed students a more flexible schooling experience, tailored to their own ever-changing schedules.
